After graduation, I spent three years as a hired gun for los Federales, but never got sent to an "unaccompanied short tour area" in SE Asia. This was thanks to following some good advice from Dick Howells (H Co. Class of '66).
I then spent twenty years in the steamship industry, but bailed out about 4 years back to work full time for my church. I am now serving as Pastoral Associate at Stella Maris Church on Sulliva's island. I am an ordained Deacon and handle marriages, Baptisms, Funerals & etc. for the Pastor.
I am still married to the same lady I married on graduation day back in 1968. Sherrie and I never had any children which can be both a blessing and a curse - depending on circumstances. She works at MUSC in the Dept. of Psychiatry.
